I’ve noticed a trend online where people make these long, drawn out commentaries on video rather than writing them down, and they have no idea how many people they just turned away from their excellent thoughts.

BTW, I am not quite deaf. I have tinnitus so bad I can barely make things out, and if I don’t have lips to read as an additional queue, it’s downright laborious to follow these videos. I get annoyed at what passes for CC these days because about half the dialog is not included. The CC on YouTube is utterly hopeless. Click on it sometime to see what the translation looks like.

I can agree with that. I usually do explain a little about why I’d like a synopsis, just so people don’t think I’m lazy. Most times, however, I just skip it altogether.

I enjoyed watching high school football but that NFL stuff has nothing to do with the pride and ability of a city. This stuff is a bunch of foreign players paid by globalists that make people feel proud of their stupid city. If there ever was such a false gauging of a city’s sports or scientific technological abilities, it is it. just a big carnival show.
