Now that you mention it, recall in the episode two weeks back - when Hershel was dealing with the epidemic in the prison - there WERE two guys in a cell together and when Hershel told the healthy guy to go to a cell by himself, he refused and said he wanted to stay with the sick one.

People see what they WANT to see I guess...Personally, I never noticed it, but then again, I wasn't looking for it.

I didn’t “want” to see it, it just stood out to my hubby and me when it happened. I could be wrong and they may have been father and son. It seems like new people show up every week in the program who were from Woodbury, so it’s hard to keep everyone figured out.

I just played back that scene on ON DEMAND and it was his son........

They might not have come from Woodbury. The show implies that they have been picking people up during the time period between the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4 (3-6 months?). Rick's questions of the crazy Irish woman in the woods shows that they've developed a protocol for vetting new people, new character Bob (alcoholic former Army medic) had only been there for about a week, etc. And it sounds like it's primarily Daryl bringing new people in.
