Bought a bunch of stuff I won’t eat (snickers & butterfingers).
Would have bought fruit-rollups, which aren’t as bad as giving out raisins...but 2 years ago, my kids created “the fruit roll-up game”.
Open them, lick’em, jump & see how high you can stick’em...against a freshly painted wall.
Chocolates seems safer.

Went to the movies and saw Escape Plan (good movie BTW) and the older lady that was taking tickets had that nudist on strike sign on her back. Cracked me up.
After-action report: I thought it was going to be a busy night, as I got hit up by a group of 3 right after my own squad went on patrol, but those were the last trick-or-treaters I saw for over an hour. Some light rain and being on a side street with a lot of darkened houses led to little traffic. Got some older (mostly) kids later, notably one pretty large group (a dozen or so) just as I was in the process of turning out the lights.
Still, only about 20 or so all told, and even with generous handouts, a LOT of leftover candy, which doesn’t mix well with my low-carb diet. :(
