It likely will not fail to a finality. Congress seems to attempt a stream of fixes on legislation that continues the debacle in perpetuity. Yes. It will morph into a Medicare-style program.
To avoid revolution, soon the premiums will be made somewhat lower than the current offerings.
The insurance companies' involvement will be eliminated, making it Single-Payer.
Then, like Medicare, special taxes will be withheld from your paycheck to pay the premiums.
Just like Medicare, the "low" premium prices will be made up by draining the Treasury's general fund, effectively subsidizing everyone's coverage.
And the program will lose money as long as it lasts.

I agree, but they will NOT own it and will lie and spin their way out of the fiasco and still use the compliant Admin media to blame Repubs - have already heard selected congresscritters blaming the shutdown for the web site debacle.
