The long-running game show Jeopardy featured an entire category on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last night. The category was popular as it was the first one chosen in the round. The answers in the category included missionaries, the Tabernacle, Marion Romney, Joseph Smith and Deseret Industries. Every contestant who was asked a question got it right.
Reid received an award from BYU, as to a great example of what mormons should be.
Reid is not disliked by mormons.

You have it wrong, as Christians we are to call out false prophets and teachings - IE mormonism
Scratch that burr in your saddle teppe, ya might just learn something
Amen...(See...we can agree)
Let's say, tho, SoFlo...
That you started your own religion.
Say that you labeled 100% of the Christian church...Protestants/Catholic/Orthodox...as "apostate"...and that your religion alone restored the ONLY true Christian church on the face of the whole earth...
And you labeled all other such professing Christian believers -- as 100% "corrupt"...
And you & your "disciples" spent tens of $millions in Websites, curricula, books, articles, speeches, missionary training labeling all us Christians as such...and even worse...
And THEN let's say that one of your descendants adhered to your religion...ran for POTUS...and poured dozens or hundreds of $millions into your religion that denigrated everything Christian and tried to claim we were ...
For example...see: The Great Apostasy [Mormonism labels ALL Protestant, Catholic & Orthodox churches 'apostate']
And then your candidate descendant approached all of us Protestants, Catholics, & Orthodox saying: "Yes, I believe in the faith of my fathers. Surely, that faith has inspired you to vote for me, right?"
Really??? (We were supposed to say we were so inspired?)
Q: What are gods?
Wait, did I see this? Maybe I did, it was last week, no? Yes, now I do remember. Never mind, as Emily Littela says.
Teppe...you know as well as I do that many of the "Mormon" threads I post are from Mormon sources...
You -- and other Mormons -- claim "Mormon" = "Christian"
Hence, by your own definition...these threads are "pro-'Christian'" because the writer was Mormon!
Even this thread was from a Utah source...and it mentioned Jeopardy questions that I would have a hard time believing were "anti-Mormon"...the answers were: missionaries, the Tabernacle, Marion Romney, Joseph Smith and Deseret Industries
What's so "anti-Mormon" 'bout the mere mention of Lds missionaries, the Mormon Tabernacle, Marion Romney, Joseph Smith, & DezIndustries?
Q: The Mormon Tabernacle Queer
A: Who needs a new hymn book?
A: The Goddess.
Q: What are you hiding?

(fixed up)
Reagan’s base was Mormon.
Well, let's see...back then Mormons claimed about 6 million adherents...about 40% of what they claim now (15 million...LOTS of those are "Jack Mormons" ... inactive)...
So if Lds are 2% of the population now...and were less in Reagan's day...what kind of a "base" is it "based" upon about 1% of the population?
Since Reagan won in two real landslides and mormons maybe 2% (maybe 6M at that time, also included children - maybe 2M voting adults) of the US population, how are they his base?
Well...the 6 mil reference I gave was WORLDWIDE # of adherents about then...not even just US citizens!
So 3M, in the US, with 1M voting adults....that’s not a base when only 750,000 being in UT....250,000 across the rest of the country would not mean anything as far as voting counts.
Thanks, C
Question: "Who is Joseph Smith?"
Question: "Who was the REAL Joseph Smith?"
Question: "What does the supposed 'FULNESS' of the Mormon Gospel exclude in the Book of Mormon?"
