Having both Secret Agent Man and Slow Dancing on my iPod, I am in full agreement with that.
I'll agree that Geddy's vocals could sometimes get a bit "screechy," but I've always thought that his vocals went well with their music.
However, if you don't like his vocals, check out La Villa Strangiato and YYZ, both are instrumentals, both are incredible rock "tour de force" songs, and both are "yardsticks" that aspiring rock musicians use to judge how good they are.

Geddy’s voice became much more normal by the time “Permanent Waves” came out. I can’t stand his vocals before that album.

go to disagree in the sense Seventh Sojourn is one of the best albums ever produced by any band...the second side of that album stands up to anything...
