Denver needs a mobile quarterback. How can they possibly win in this league with a classic quarterback?

Sarcasm off......Denver still hasn’t played anybody. Dallas and Baltimore are at best average teams (Baltimore took a step back after winning the Super Bowl) the rest of the teams the Broncos blew out stinks
To: Bigtigermike
Let’s see how they do against the Chiefs’ defense.

I’ll take the Jags and the points. 28 is just too much to give. The Broncos will take their foot off the offensive gas at some point, the Jags will score some BS garbage time points and cover.

We’ve been trying the mobile QB thing here in Philly for 23 years. I suggest another path.

I saw that Alabama was a 55-point favorite this past weekeknd.

The last Denver game went over 100 combined points scored.
The next Denver game might do it too.

Only if the Broncos put up 80 of those points. Jacksonville is terrble. They haven't scored more than 20 points in a game all year.

But as you said, the last game was a COMBINED 100 points; Denver may put up 100 by themselves against the Jags!

The last Denver game went over 100 combined points scored. 51+48 = 99.

The question is, how soon do they pull Peyton and the other starters?
My guess is with about 5 minutes left in the first half.

I am sorry to disagree, but Dallas is much better than an average team.
They are NOT an elite team (since they do NOT have a shutdown defense), but they are not an “average” team.
I too look forward to Denver matching up with the Chiefs. Dallas played both of those teams close and barely lost in both cases.
As I watched that game yesterday, about five minutes into the third quarter I said, “Who ever has the ball last will be the winner of this game.” Unfortunately, I was right.

We were talking in the office this morning, and I figured that he wouldn't play more than halfway through the third quarter. Just my guess.

Dallas seems to play down to the level of their competition, though. We'll see what they do against the REDSKINS on Sunday night.
