They couldn’t celebrate the number of new welfare recipients they enrolled, that would be rude.
They gave away (through private enterprise) millions of Free Obamaphones, (slightly less rude).
But Healthcare ?

These guys, before long will be celebrating as millions of zombies express their basic right for free healthcare.

And human nature dictates that it will fail. The whole concept of socialism does not take that into account which suggests it was an ideological system invented for the purpose of enriching the privileged classes untiil the peasants catch on and overthrow them which seems to be a recurring pattern.
There is nothing we can do about it.
It’s like moving out of “Check”, knowing the inevitable “Check mate” is coming.
