Because they do not fear us.
This is an awesome point and cannot be repeated often enough. This is the reason why America, as I knew her, is dead. We cannot fix her, we cannot resuscitate her.
We can only start over, and--hopefully--codify against the things we know to be wrong with this government so it does not happen again.
To be honest, I have no hope of that ever happening. I do have hope, though, of something far greater--and it's getting closer.
Ted Cruz has a list of senate phone numbers for ALL of them up.

And an incumbent losing an election is not so big a deal for that incumbent, especially a freshman. If the new guy goes in there and really tries, opposes the Machine, he will not make any money beyond his salary and what investment his own abilities can gain him. If he wins re-election that does not change. If a first timer goes in and immediately abandons his constituents(most of the Tea Party guys) his financial situation is greatly enhanced and his future assured. He becomes a rich or richer man. If he loses re-election he is still a rich man and will continue to gain.
It’s called the MSM. It was their job to stop this and provide oversight four politicians.
Instead they became part of the establishment with many indoctrinated Marxists.
We destroy the MSM we get our government back.
The naked dismissal of law by the elites is untenable.
The system favors rich liars with extremely large egos. And that’s what we got.
You need a tremendous amount of money to run for office. If you don’t have any, you have to lie to different groups to get money. People with big egos think they are God’s gift to humanity, and that they are better than everyone else.
That’s the system.
Who’s going to change the system? The rich liars with extremely large egos? No.
1. The public’s got to extract its head from the “out” end of their digestive tract.
2. The public’s got to make a little effort to find out what’s happening, since the mainstream dominant media suppress facts.
3. The public’s got to stop voting for people who promise to give them freebies.
No sign of that happening.
Absolutely. You one vote is meaningless as a lunch with a lobbyist gets them a quarter of a million.
O.K. In an election year, within one, maybe two months max of the vote*; I could see it being effective in some cases. Amazing that it was effective in MI, since the politics tend to be just slightly to the right of MN.
Try getting that kind of groundswell in support against a socialist dem idea or law in MN just oh, I don’t know, perhaps a dozen times and get back to me. Even national talk show hosts have a difficult time generating any positive buzz here.
*I say within one or two months of the vote because of the distance between tax day (4-15) to the actual vote (6 months either direction of the vote in any year). This was intentional BTW.
They’re not afraid of us and they intend to replace us as voters. That’s what immigration “reform” is all about. Instead the voters choosing the leaders the leaders choose the voters.
Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants... bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society. Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors. [but hes not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said.
