I got a huge smile seeing that picture.... and had to run out to the kitchen to snap this photo to post.

You see, back when I was living with a friend, mom had an extra calendar from the Reagan Library (She gets all these calendars for donations to conservative causes). Well, the kitchen needed a calendar so without even asking, up went Reagan. It was great because when we'd be entertaining invariably one of the lady guests would be some leftist snob or raving lunatic Marxist. The reaction from these sort of guests, or just knowing they were offended and dare not say it (for fear of showing their true intolerance) at these cocktail parties was just precious.

My roommate and I agreed that this was THE BEST (there are 12 GREAT shots actually) and so when mom gave us the 2010 calender, I just folded the old calendar in half and hung it from the same hook as the new calendar.

When I moved out, the calendar came with me... and I hung it up in my new place as the only decoration in the whole apartment.

It still works well for getting a defining reaction from people making housecalls here (particularly the lady friend visitors) I am on the fence about.
