In a further study costing $billions of taxpayer dollars the government has determined that the pope is catholic and bears do $h!t in the woods.

Well, doh! I saw a Discovery/National geographic show not too long ago that discussed evidence of a massive West Coast tsunami that struck sometime in the 18th century, with even more before that.
They just now figuring out that the Pacific Ocean has tsunamis that go in all directions?

Even if you projected the target of just a eighty-mile stretch...giving everyone within five miles of the beach a three-hour warning...I’d still bet on half the folks refusing to leave. Figure thirty thousand dead or missing.
The environmental crowd would be much better off in tackling this subject and actually progressing on a coastal warning system, with education for folks.

Thanks for this post. Our LEGO robotics team needs to learn more about local natural disasters for this year’s competition. This is an article the kids could read.

NOT going to happen. Obama promised the oceans would recede if he became King.

You paddle out, turn around and raise.
That's all there is to the coastline craze.
And when you catch a wave,
You'll be sitting on top of the world.
