As the late comedian Sam Kinston used to say ‘When she takes your di$k and won’t give it back’.
30 seconds before they hit the road.

When she starts buying camo.
I hate shopping for clothes so my wife buys most of my clothes. If I don’t like what she buys then I don’t wear it. It works for us.
Thst is just weird. I purchase various items of clothing as presents for my husband, but I am not in charge of his wardrobe!
I recall being a young manager and reading “Dress for Success.” In it, the author explain why a man should NEVER pick out his business attire. I never forgot it. And she never has.
My wife is the one who looks at me most, so she has the biggest say in what she sees.
Thanks for the early morning laugh-out-loud...

What is that woman doing in a clothing store instead of a kitchen?
Now if it was a grocery store, well, thats one thing but....
Can’t wait to hear from the ladie’s on this one...: )
(you are gonna be in so much trouble...lol)
A gentleman I work with has his wife choose all of his clothes. It's mainly because he's too busy and scatterbrained to do it himself. If left to his own devices, I think he would wear the same clothes every day no matter how wrinkled or dirty. LOL
you think it’s funny...I think I need a witness protection program ;)
And that portends the question...
“Why are they on the web Freeping while I am sitting here without a sandwich?”
;)
I have also been married 37 yrs.
I buy all my hubs clothes. I know his tastes, favorite colors, sizes down to a t.
I do this to save $$$. I will go to Marshalls, sales racks ect. Since he hates to shop, he just walks in to a store and has the salesperson put together the outfit in question. It ends up costing a lot more .
He appreciates it.
I looked good as can be in 1966 in my pink corduroy bell-bottom-pants with my coral turtleneck! Add some white bobby socks and some saddle oxfords and I was the envy of the po white trash in the South.
It got worse in the 70’s with a plaid green leisure suit, polyester!
I need therapy.
And forget hand me downs. He was full grown by 8th grade, and I, a midget.
I still cringe when I see back to school clothing sales.

Once I knew his new size in shirts - we're good to go.
He wants to look upstanding (whether business attire or business casual) and it does wonders for him to do so. When he walks into the office in his better attire, he gets noticed - and that is a good thing.
And I like him looking good.
I’m a jeans and T-shirt guy. Wife has been trying to modify my wardrobe for over 20 years. A couple of her first attempts are still hanging, unworn, in the closet as a reminder that she can buy it, but that won’t make me wear it...
IOW, you arent interested in being attractive in the eyes of any particular woman. When youre buying a birthday gift for a nephew, it would never occur to you to select clothing for him - you are quite sure, correctly almost certainly, that he would prefer a video game or roller skates or some other toy or tool. OTOH a niece would be very pleased to be taken to the mall and be allowed to select an item of clothing as a present, which is the very last thing you would expect a boy to enjoy. If you have a wife or girlfriend, your attitude towards your appearance changes - shopping for clothes doesnt suddenly become fun, but you do have someone whose opinion of how you should dress matters to you. You dont actually spend a lot of time in front of a mirror, so it doesnt matter so much to you what you look like. But since your wife does care about your appearance, and does after all see you from the outside whereas you do not, it is only sensible to defer entirely to your wifes preference in clothing for you. What is your motive to argue over something you dont care about?
She grew up caring about clothes, and you grew up not caring about clothes. End of story.
