Wow. Just wow. I hadn’t seen the episode before. Amy is completely delusional and paranoid and the husband is not much better. They not only treat their staff like crap, they treat their customers that way too. In the opening scene where Samy throws those customers out for complaining that they’d been waiting over an hour for a pizza and then tries to make them pay for the food they didn’t even get? Unbelievable. And pocketing the server’s tips? If I tipped a server and found out that it went into the nasty owner’s pocket, I’d be very angry and certainly would never go back there again.
Ramsey can come off like a jerk sometimes but he knows his stuff, knows what good food is and more importantly how a restaurant should be run. He did compliment them on how clean the kitchen was and on the desserts but it’s obvious that the food isn’t all that good but Amy thinks she’s God’s gift to the culinary arts and can’t take any criticism what so ever, either honest criticism or imagined insults.
Amy – Get some help – you need it.

It could very well be, but if you watch that Kitchen Nightmares episode, Amy starts off by saying that they once got a bad review on Yelp and that she then launched an on-line tirade against the negative poster, called him all sorts of nasty names and then blamed all the “bloggers” and “haters” for all their troubles. She and her husband can’t take any sort of criticism and if they had just let the bad review slide or taken perhaps some constructive criticism instead of launching a nasty counter campaign, no one would have given a bad review much attention. The producers of Kitchen Nightmares approached them after all the negative publicity and obviously, without ever having watched the show or thinking that Gordon Ramsey would do nothing but give them glowing reviews and bow down to Amy as being the best chef in the world with her “God given natural talents”, thus proving all the “haters” wrong, they were dumbfounded when Gordon, rightly pointed out the problems with the food and the problems with how they run their business. And her response to Ramsey? Pretty much the same as posted here.
It might not be her that posted here but she and her husband are nut jobs and I wouldn’t put it past them.
I watched the episode when it first aired and had not read anything before. Man, did I get a surprise! I had no idea people like this could even exist in the restaurant business long enough to get on Kitchen Nightmares.
After the show aired, I looked up their FB page and read their screaming rants. I do believe that to be the real Amy and Samy.
I think people started posting as them way after that because they’re such an easy target. The ABC owners are truly delusional!

I think the best definition of both of them is DELUSIONAL... sad, but true :p
If so, they brought it about themselves. They became an internet meme and an easy target because they are as you said, “truly delusional” and I would add, very nasty people who think everything is everyone else’s fault and they launched and continue to launch nasty tirades against anyone who has anything negative about their restaurant.
They keep insisting that the nasty stuff they post is not really them but that someone has “hacked” their accounts.
I hear ya. I think the Face Book stuff is all them.
I do wonder about this thread, though.

They are two jailbirds, aren’t they. See what you think of this. The confiscation of the servers’ tips, as well as charging them for spoilage and breaks, may be part of the scheme to launder cash that comes from the pair’s other ventures, huh?
