I was raised on comic books that portrayed superheroes (both male and female) as strong in their positions as role models. Nothing about sex was ever needed, nothing about sexual preference ... nothing. My superheroes saved the world just by being strong in their convictions about right and wrong.

Now, my grandchildren will be exposed to superheroes that are perverts in the bedroom by night and just fabulous in their tights by day.

Once upon a time male friendship / fellowship was a valued and respected thing. Of course, the mentally deranged cannot understand just friendship. They have to project their genital-obsessed, narcissistic, mind-frame into everything. In the process, their abject failures infect others like a cancer. Consider Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and the kerfluffle not too long ago when the movie almost went 'that way' with them. It is a shame. But it shows us how the minds of the entertainers works.

And ‘Batman’ was just a rich guy with a lot of expensive toys and no super powers, a poser.
Superman was the real deal. But I always wondered if he could beat the Flash in a foot race.
