Sensing something ... Web, not just this site, but many web sites experiencing trouble. Nully, you seeing anything? NoC ... seeing anything.
FR has its page-truncation thing going on again. It’ll come back after a while. I haven’t tried any other sites. Also, I need to take a shower.
Seen twice (here) in about last 30 minutes. Came back first time and currently back once more.
These things happen. Teh Interwebs, they iz not on our side. When I was at Mom’s recently, the NASDAQ went kablooey, and it was not my fault.
I had a brilliant idea to have the homeschool association middle-school girls make cards for the troops. I have Hallowe’en and Thanksgiving rubber stamp sets. I’m trying to arrange a hostess, so people don’t have to drive out here to the far side of Walmart.
I’m wondering if someone is running another test outside.
The Robinsons are trying to get this glitch permanently fixed, which no doubt requires lots of wonking and testing. Someday ...
This began about three plus hours ago according to what info have located. Appears to have jumped once and took out other locs.
Hmmmmm. Maybe it’s related to Labor Day. After all, they didn’t pick up the trash!
Going to the shower, might be back eventually, or might settle down to watch “My Fair Wedding” if the interwebs glitch isn’t glitching Netflix streaming.
Netflix not disrupted at this time.
Netflix has taken several hits during last twelve hours though. Didn’t take them down but they were hit on down side nearing 70%.
Many email services seeing major hits last twelve hours.
I've been trying to synergize the effects of the hull repair crews, (our local equivalent of volunteer fire-fighters), and the hull repair equipment. As you know, we use external crawlers on the outside of the hull, and space-suited crewmen for inspection and repair. Similar crews work the inside, which while easier on the breathing, is climbing upside-down. It takes a special skill-set and attitude.
Mainly we depend on AlON, made in our forge area to specific sizes based on the triangular window shapes of the dome. The dome girders and braces vary considerably from base to zenith, getting thinner in aspect as they go. But the windows are all the same size.
Also, the hull girder-work is a spherical space-frame. That means it has a double-wall, (or double-hull), arrangement, with triangular bracing struts between the walls. This allows a triangular window shape to hinge out from an in-between-the-hull-layers orientation, to take a position on the outside layer of "glass" or the inside layer. As much as possible, this happens automatically if any window section is damaged.
A similar response is designed for even greater damage, should that eventuate. We cannot afford to lose our interior air, as it would necessitate the evacuation of the Flying Castle Habitat.
We have many more panels than we need at any one time, but only by having them pre-positioned for immediate response can we minimize the loss of atmosphere.
Leakage occurs, as it must. We make constant forays to nearby sources of volatile gases in order to replenish the oxygen and nitrogen especially. I am also directing the construction of storage facilities for such gases in a frozen state as an emergency and long-term preparation for the eventual decline of our shuttles and access to other locations. We need to be as independent as we can arrange to be, for long-term survival.

How's that for a reset?
