I like it.
Thanks!
I have a whole bin full.
I call it my binnery.
*groan*
You are so punny, Bob...
Got to make the donuts, so to speak.
So trudging off to my drudgery.
Y’all so funny.
I’m going to Weight Watchers with whatever children are in the van when I drive away. It’s always a challenge to remember which ones went somewhere so I can bring them all back.
hmmmm. really, Fels-Naptha huh??? Right now I’m using Melaleuka detergent and it works really well, but is expensivvvvvvve
Trackless wastes of trees in which to never be found in..
More or less.
The swamp now has a city parked on it.
:-(
Fels-Naptha has been around for a hundred years, and is about $1 a bar. It will get rid of grass, blood, oil, grease, wine...you name it.
I always have a bar or two on hand.
If I’ve been rather absent in my posts to you lately, it’s because my brain hasn’t been able to grasp what concept you’re trying to explain. Not your fault. Entirely ME! It’s just one of those times when the connections in my brain don’t really connect...they just sort of attempt to.
It isn’t terminal, but I sure hate when it happens...I miss so much fun!
The one in North Carolina is still there. Part of it’s in Virginia, too.
Do not worry, I’m about half out of it anyway on a good day.
I was confused by the Dismal Swamp thingy. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
But I don’t know why I should be confused...I mean there are lots of Springvilles, Springfields, Paysons, Uticas, etc. Some days, my brain can only take just so much.
Today, I will dust the floors that need dusting, and vacuum the ones that need vacuuming. At least, that’s the plan for now!
(Wish me luck!)
So how is Bill taking the “waiting game?”
A bulwark of defense from whatever crazy Virginia is putting out these days?
[They get infected by DC being right across the way I hear.]
Morning, y’all! Some difficulty navigating today so see y’all later!
He’s sitting at the dinner table playing computer games all day. Unnngh.
Maybe he’ll wish he’d used his time more productively once he’s working. Maybe not ...
Well, yes.
The early settlers would call any trackless swamp they ran across a “dismal Swamp”.
If they ran into one that took more than a day to cross, it was upgraded to “GREAT Dismal Swamp”.
So back in the early 1800’s or so when Ohio was a territory/frontier, the place where I was born was occupied by a gigantic swamp.
That’s why Toledo Ohio is referred to as “Frogtown” by some.
They drained part of the swamp, built a fort, became a town, grew into a city.
And then... the swamp became no more.
It’s also the infamous swamp across which those Michigander Swamp Fox would harrass the innocent harmless Ohioan Buckeyes from as they sought to escape their arctic exile out on the mitten of Michigan!
[Ping to Sharky, he’s a Michigander.]
Morning!
You Eastern-Midwesterners have some strange customs. Or do I mean exotic fauna?
He’s young. He has no clue that he could be researching the company and the store policies so that he doesn’t go into his employment blind.
The more he knows ahead of time, the better it will serve him when it comes time for promotions, raises and company advancements.
He needs to get off his brain and put the other one to work on something productive.
