Did I mention how the guy that drew the blood at my drs ofc was a mean gay guy. I couldn’t stand him bc he was just nasty. When I went to my appt a few weeks back i told her I’d have the blood drawn elsewhere bc i didn’t like her guy and she responded, oh he died! My first question was Aids? And she said no, an asthma attack. Guess HPPA doesn’t apply to the dead?

My contractor compadre just got a pair to add to his biker gear, but they probably came from the Macho Men Leather Shop on the border someplace...

Someone on Fox said she was 22, I think, so he is a horndog with an online sex addiction who is having a mid-life crisis as well-every woman with even the least bit of feminine pride should shun his enabler wife...

I admire your restraint-I’d probably have said it, f*** them and the horse they rode in on. I was not aware that people die from asthma attacks-it must be like a rare, deadly allergy.

Happy day! ;-)

It happens quite a bit. Remember the famous model Niki Taylor? Her little sister died of one at 17. Niki lives here now and I see her walking or biking at the park regularly. She always wears a broad brim hat and she smiles and says hello.

One of the reasons that bother me about how the homosexuals stole the word gay to mean something entirely different - obviously he was surly and not at all gay. We used to call our GM “Gay” because the first grandchild couldn’t pronounce Grammy and I have had friends with the name “Gaye”. A perfectly lovely name that was co-opted for a gross agenda.

My ignorance is on display-I honestly thought it must be extremely rare-has it always happened, or is it related to some substance/thing that wasn’t in evidence in the recent past?

I have seen more about it because of what I do for a living. Asthma was a big time problem in the Mexican communities in SA. One of the spouse’s favorite visits was a child who came to see him because he had the “wheezles”. We loved SA.

I just saw this on Twitter and have to agree.
DepressiveBlogger69 Forgiving once is compassion. Forgiving twice is permission. The third time is enabling action.

You are probably right-and is it supposed to affect Hispanics more frequently? I don’t even know of anyone in my huge family with it-maybe city-bred people get asthma more. That makes some sense if air purity is a factor, I suppose. When I was little, I heard female relatives saying most kids “outgrew” some things like allergies, etc.

I’ve never liked SA much at all, and I lived there most of the time since 1970-there is just something as insane as Austin about it. It is a pretty enough place, but there has been too much concentrated development so that there isn’t room to be alone or have complete silence-and the light pollution is awful. Also, most of the people waste resources at an alarming rate both at home and at their businesses-especially water.

We liked the people and made some great friends there, who we have kept. And asthma in the Mexican American communities is like diabetes in the Native Americans. Higher preponderance.
