I just returned from the follow-up from having a couple of eye surgeries. My vision is now as good as it has ever been.
I noticed some time ago that the surgeon has a slight accent. Reading his awards, diplomas, memberships etc. I first of all noticed he was originally Canadian. Second, he is so highly rated, I wondered how he ever wound up in the Florida Panhandle. Then I noticed that he loves water sports.
Probably not that much to do in that area in Canada.

1) you cannot buy individual booze except in QC because the gubmint controls the liquor: it’s called the liquor distribution board. You cannot even buy a single beer in a 7-11 convenience store
2) HEALTHCARE: the gubmint punishes you for not paying your monthly premiums by destroying your credit score and having garnish your wages.
3) You cannot choose car insurance because the gubmint controls that as well.
4) INFERIORITY COMPLEX: where can you find a country so ANTI AMERICAN that every damn patriotic commercial always vilifies Americans in the HERITAGE CANADA commercials?
Every commercial is “American this” American that...even beer commcercials. Why is there such a jealousy for Americans.

Funny, we were just talking earlier about were in the world can we move, so sick of politics and obozo. Hubby said “Canada” and I said “really”... you never hear anything crazy coming from our northern neighbors. Might be able to just disappear there...nice thought.
