he’s going to be a big hit up at SU for his senior year!! And i told him he better not wear that HERE in noVA because we are crawling with the moose-limbed ones. He also ordered himself the tshirt with the assault rifle that says COME AND TAKE IT. if we weren’t on a watchlist before, we are now!
I like the shirt and cap-and thanks for the link-I need a Gadsden flag like my neighbor’s, and I’m buying one for my contractor compadre-his birthday is next month...
I’ve seen those before. Very cool. Remember the story of the veteran who had that tattoo in Arabic only and was asked to cover it when he went skydiving?
In Greek? Molon labe?
it supposedly says live free or die in arabic.
oh come and take it? no, it’s in english. you can see them at the site.
almost sounds like yinz got yourselves a COMPOUND down there.. ; ) i told xsboy that the website looked like it was for those who are living off the grid, in bunkers, i love it!
Some people around here are fond of various flags-besides the usual US and Texas ones, Gadsdens, stars and bars and Texas revolution Come-and-Take-It (with the cannon), there are a few union jacks, and a bunch of jolie rouge/jolly rogers-and I’ve always wondered about that...
My son bought one of those Jolly Roger flags this spring, saying it was on sale! I asked what good is a sale if it is something you don’t need or can’t use? I was met with a blank look. Clearly, I don’t get it.
I have the Culpepper minute men flag. It’s “dont tread on me” with snake, black on white field with “liberty or death” as well.
I understand it says “infidel” in Arabic as well. The point being to save them the trouble in identfying us, in defiance.
I’ve always been fond of the jolly roger-an emblem of defiance-I like that. I’ve never asked any of the people who have one displayed why they do, but I’ll bet if I did, I’d get the same blank look you did...
I like that one, too, but I haven’t seen one displayed out here.
Very cool.
How was everyone’s Father’s Day?
Relaxing and uneventful. Cooked some steaks on the grill.
