An interesting read.
Maybe Tebow lost his “quarterback or nothing” mindset, finally. I could see him playing TE for the Pats. Maybe they are kicking the tires in that manner.
Time will tell. He was pretty adamant about not making the change earlier. And if he is making a position change then he's got a whole new set of problems - leaning a new role while learning a new offense.
You must live near me, LOL.
Norwood now Canton for the past year and a half.
3) Milk him for as much information as they can about the Jets.
Post #76 puts his record in context -- the Broncos were struggling before he took over, and then went on a big run to win the division and a playoff game.
Tebow doesn't have classic mechanics, clearly. But in the end, it's all about "W" or "L", and some people have that ability to make the others around them better. For whatever reason, that year's Broncos team believed Tebow could get it done, and for the most pert he (and they) did. In New York, you had a coaching staff that didn't want him in the first place, which led to a situation where the team had no confidence in him even as their designated starter sucked like an Electrolux.
90% of this game is 50% mental, with apologies to Yogi Berra.
A very streaky big run. In only two of those regular season games did Denver pass for more yards than they ran. In two games - both against the Chiefs - Denver racked up fewer than 70 passing yards.
Tebow doesn't have classic mechanics, clearly.
Tebow doesn't have the mechanics. He doesn't have a good feel for the game. He doesn't have the intangibles that go into a great quarterback. He has his work cut out for him in New England. It isn't goint to be easy for him.
Oh. I live just south of the stadium in Wrentham, a couple of miles.
