Dangit!
Was that version 1.0 of the Cone of Silence? I don’t remember seeing it.
>>oure not running a domestic terrorism group (well, there are those new DHS criteria ).
You are a domestic terrorist if you do any TWO of the following:
Possess a DD214.
Are a member of church with a HETEROsexual pastor.
Homeschool your children or drive them to church (even if it has a homosexual pastor).
Own a gun, have owned a gun, want to own a gun, or eat your pop tarts so they take on a gunlike appearance.
Possess military equipment, such as web belts, canteens, or folding shovels.
Have used a knife in the last 14 days.
Believe in that Constitution Thingy.
Can say Founding Fathers without making air quotes and smirking.
Receive a paycheck from a private employer.
Drive a car with only one battery.
As long as you don’t do these things, you have nothing to fear from your friendly government.
Loved one of the comments at the link: If you don’t want anybody to hear what you are saying, say it on MSNBC.
Use Throw Away Phones If you really dont want to use a paid service, you could always buy a burner phone (or ten).
The good drug dealers ALWAYS use throw away phones. Interestingly, they are not all that expensive. The reasons for using them are legion, but you can still be nabbed if law enforcement gets their hands on someones phone you called and you keep the throwaway phone a bit too long.
“Was that version 1.0 of the Cone of Silence? I dont remember seeing it.”
Nope - I believe this was the ‘portable’ Cone of Silence.
God I loved that show.
That was a great show.
They make some claims about privacy. Are they true?
I don’t know. I just saw that yesterday and am planning on checking it out. I use bing but it’s probably no better than google.
What?
[What about https://startpage.com/]
From I heard it is Google’s answer to a privacy zone. I stopped using it when I read that.
Thanks! I’ve been wondering, although it is supposed to be a kind of firewall ID-wise between one’s requests and how the answers have been sought through the google engine with no forwarding of the seeker’s address (supposedly).
HERES HOW YOU CAN BROWSE THE WEB WITHOUT BEING TRACKED
which was placed on The Blaze about a year ago. Regarding Tor, it said:
"For those who are what CNET calls hard core, there is Tor Project, which offers completely anonymous browsing over encrypted channels. This, CNET acknowledges, could be a little overkill for the average user but you wont see any ads corresponding with your recent searches here."
FWIW
I think I'll get the Tor bundle and try it out.
