Unless that was a real strong desk, it would probably blow a hole in it, then send extremely hot burning balls flying about, igniting about any flammable object they hit.

Typically a star cluster reaches an altitude of 300 feet before exploding.

38 mm Colt handgun

People, especially .45 ACP fans, make fun of the 9 mm. No one makes fun of the 38mm. And the stopping power is pretty good too - a whole lot better than something wimpy like a 50 cal Barrett.

I couldn't find a pic of 38 mm ammo, but it's twice as big around as this stuff and the bullets weigh almost eight times as much. The only drawbacks are the weight of the extra high-capacity bullet clips for my 38 mm AK-47 assault pistol - one or two of the 30-round clips are about all I can handle, and even that is a bit of a challenge to conceal.

Israeli Bank Shooting Could Bring Tighter Gun Regulations

Perhaps this recent event has something to do with it. “The government is going to end up taking guns away from law-abiding citizens and leaving them in the hands of criminals and terrorists.” Where have I heard that before?

I think they meant the old 37 MM, which is one hell of a pocket cannon and served admirably from WWI through WWII.

It fires AP, HE, Tracer, and the handy-dandy all-purpose anti-personnel canister round which looks like a big shotgun shell and is the one load that probably settled the issue on Guadalcanal, thanks to its ability to nip 13 Japs at a time in the bud.

Should you need one of these funk'o'ramas, you'll find it parked in front of old Legion and VFW posts, next to the Veterans' Memorial in Anytown, USA, or at the odd yacht club that uses it as a starting gun.

Our COMBLOC adversaries also have a way cool quad mount radar-linked 37mm AAA version that is the bigger brother to the 23mm, and the smaller version of the 57mm

BTW, 37MM = 1 7/16" = pretty darned hefty. IIRC, The handgun version called the "Big Momma or Supreme Court Judge" has been recalled, as it caused damage to purses of CCW holders and unacceptable collateral damage in courthouses.

That 37 mm sounds great; I need one that’ll fit in my pocket.
