Back in the late 1800s and early 20th century magnetic north moved about 5 miles per year. In the latter half of the 20th century it moved around 35 to 40 miles per year. But it if is suddenly jumping to 322 miles per year something’s getting ready to happen.
I’m expecting a wobble when the pole flips causing strong enough to change the eccentricity of the Earth’s orbit and send up packing into the next ice age.

so much for the magnetic declination on paper maps and a compass... good thing it doesn't effect GPS

Precession of the magnetic North Pole mostly due to where Jupiter is in its orbit. Same thing that is causing the lack of sunspots. Not a big deal. Good doomsday-bait though.

I had read on previous posts that airlines have been having to re-set the readings daily on their plane’s control panel as it is set to the north pole and it keeps shifting. And the Inuit tribes in Alaska who hunt seals, determine the fishing time on when a sunrise began between two mountains, but now the sunrise is miles further away? I tend to believe the north pole has shifted dramatically.

Folks, you can chalk this up to “Same as it ever was”. This is nothing new and is just a characteristic of the Earth.

I didn’t realize the Festivus Pole was located that far north!

It's not a joke, although I haven't felt its traumatic either, but I hope it reminds people that Ma Nature is big and powerful and not to be messed with. She runs via forces that we don't understand very well.
Such a joke to think we could control climate.

So we’re really going to have a pole switch?

Hopefully Santa’s workshop & castle is transportable. At this rate it’ll be in warmer climes soon if not.

Should the Stargate be re-calibrated? If so, this is going to take a whole heap of extra unplanned for time. Please expect some delays. The flux capacitor has limits. Planning for outward to reverse back to inward will cause a lot of problems for the wall.

Just hope the Sun does have a major hicup while facing the earth when this happpens.
Those who survived in this movie were under ground or in a well built building.

I’m sorry. Is it too late for me to to buy curly light bulbs? I would have bought them sooner, but I thought it was a hoax.

Look on the bright side ? if a CME or even a EMP attack happens ? your old tube radio, TV would still work and a car with the old points and condenser ignition system with a will work.

Earths Magnetic North Pole is shifting from its current location in northern Canada at a faster rate than has ever before been observed.
The movement could have significant impact for both aircraft navigation and some types of migratory wildlife in the decades ahead, experts warn.
Hundreds of miles south of the geographic North Pole, the location of the Magnetic North Pole was first determined in 1833.
It seemed to barely move until about 1904, when its position began to track northeastward about nine miles per year.
The speed began to increase significantly in a northwesterly direction about 1998, and now averages about 37 miles each year.
This means the pole will be located in northern Russia later this century if the movement and speed dont change.
Air transportation uses magnetic compass directions for navigation, meaning airports are having to rename their runways as the shift continues.
Wildlife that can sense Earths magnetic field to migrate may also become affected by the change.
