You’re absolutely right. At the end of the day, I thought it was a fairly conservative show. They did a good job of making Archie look like a buffoon, but Meathead was a pompous blowhard. And at the end of the day, more often than not it was Archie who came off as the one who was right.

Children living with parents after marriage before getting a start in life was very common at the turn of the century when the extended family was the norm. Especially back when people got married much earlier.

More than you know. We got to hear her give a talk at a small private high school in LA in the early 90's - what a privilege. Amazing, loving woman.
