First instinct...
Five minutes after retrieving kid-o...

Hey Jennifer, come here any you can play with my gun. Don’t know if the hair trigger is ok tho. Whatever, but please play with my gun carefully. Don’t want it going off too soon or in the wrong place.
I grew up in the 60s and 70s and cap guns were my favorite toy. We use to buy the rolls of caps and hit them with a hammer for a louder bang. Today we would have been arrested for terrorism and my parents put under IRS surveillance.
Government school is child abuse.
What a bunch of pathetic crap-weasels! Poor kid! I would explode if this happened to my kid.
Little boy behavior criminalized... we’re breeding a nation of sissies!!!
Once again, it happened in the Freak State.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
People need to start suing these school districts, and defund them.
What kind of horrible parent lets their kids have cap guns?!?
Mine have airsofts and .22s.
my child would never never ever return to any school that employed adults that terrorized him so much he wet his pants
poor baby
I hope that mom does homeschool!
This is nothing shy of INDOCRANATION IN PREPARATION TO MAKE IT LESS HAZORDOUS FOR THE US GOVERNMNET OFFICIALS WHO WANT ABSOLUTE CONTROL OF US ALL. It’s either that or these effing people at public schools that do this crap to these little kids are paranoid freedom hating fascists.
I really wonder about the mental processes of people who treat 5-yr olds like this. I see examples every day of people with a tiny bit of authority behaving like little tin gods, but such obvious bullying of small children is truly sick.
It’s not about capguns. It’s about criminalizing the THOUGHT of a gun.
Fascist mind control.
They humiliated the boy. They should not ask why when he shows up in 10 years and takes out the school staff.
When my son was young, he brought his brand new jackknife to school for show-and-tell. Back then he was in a public school.
When he excitedly showed it to his teacher, she expressed her admiration, but then held it for him and postponed his turn at show-and-tell until the following day. She quietly called me on her lunch break and asked me to pick it up, and help my son pick out another item to show the next day. She was technically supposed to report the incident, but explained to us that she felt that would be over-reacting.
We did appreciate how she managed things. We parents were able to explain things to our 2d grader in our own way, and he happily showed off his fishing pole the next day.
What a POS that principal is.
The next PTA meeting I attended would be a hot one.
Those brain-dead bureaucrats responsible for this outrage should be brought up on felony child abuse charges.
Doesn’t the school have an anti-bullying rule? The parents should invoke this rule and charge the teacher with bullying their 6-year old boy!
What is good for the goose is good for the gander! Turn the tables on them with their ridiculous behavior.
