why is JC Penney trying to sell a kettle anyway? Kettles are emblematic of housewares.

I was talking to a 25 year old who didnt know who JFK was and had never heard of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. He graduated in the top 5% of his HS class. That surprises me. One would think that the liberals who run our schools would consider him our greatest president (besides Obama, of course).

Was that Sears catalog the one with the guys Johnson hanging below his boxers? It wasn't actually. It was an ink blemish or an artefact of the printing process. That much was obvious. It was the shape that was unfortunate.

Some took to Twitter to complain of the similarity between the stainless steel tea kettle and the Nazi dictator Some people have way, way, way, way too much time on their hands.

Either way someone in advertising should have caught this. While watching tv commercials we're usually tearing them apart with "wth were they thinking." All those dollars wasted on advertizing that turn customers away. The one that causes and immediate channel change, other than the big guy himself, is that woman selling a program to turn your bad teen into a good kid.

This stuff happens.
Recently our company updated our logo, which is based on a 3-letter acronym, the first letter being I.
Reviewed over and over, and examined by committees and individuals for months.
When actually released into the wild it became obvious most people saw the first letter as J. After which everybody in the company could also see it.

Why the bell? Without that, not so much unless you’re looking for it.
