An aquaintance of mine works for DNR. Several years ago, a River Otter was found as road kill in a southern Indiana rural area. According to him, an investigation was launched and locals were questioned to see if they could find the motorist who ran over the “protected species.” Apparently, after some locals were questioned and some complaints were filed about wasteful spending of taxpayer’s money, common sense prevailed and the investigation was stopped.
We had a good laugh about it.

This is an old rural line back to a residence. I dont think the wires are more than two feet apart. That's more plausible. Does it arc in the rain?
