Seems sort of like a Hitchcock plot, what with vultures and buzzards massing in unusual numbers on the east coast earlier this spring.

As far as their going for live prey, what did the French expect after depriving them of their natural diet?

Given the general bass-ackward wackiness of environmentalists in general and the French in particular, they’ll probably start requiring healthy cattle be killed and left in the field to solve the problem.

The vultures serve a useful purpose - French cooking schools use them as testers .... if the vultures won’t eat it, then a large portion of the French people won’t eat it.
