They’re our fellow Americans. I’ll defend them just like I would defend you. There’s your answer.
Mind you I noticed a lot of fat asses.
Thank you LucyT, am perusing the comments now.
Really? I was responding to someone who called the cops terrorists. You don’t think that’s a bit outrageous?
What should worry people is that if you own a gun that has turned illegal...you could be facing a felony due to this search (and don’t expect much sympathy from judges or juries there).
Those folks wearing the uniforms work for us. They are us. And they were simply fulfilling the first duty of all government, which is to protect the lives of We the People.
The duty of all government.
And here is the head, leader, Commander in Chief of all government agents and public servants.
Obama thanks you.
Is that so? Did you actually witness him apprehending and cuffing the perp before turning him over to authorities?
MA is tiny geographically but remember there are north of 6 million MA residents, more by far than most other states.
But of course if they are compliant, you don’t need to sustain a huge force to exert your will. You count on the locals, turning each other in, to do it for you.
Just wonder how much fishing was going on while they had the “POWER” to bust into folks homes? Who will report it?
MSM won’t
TT
There is drinking the Koolaid, and then there is mainlining the Koolaid.
You’re mainlining. It’s fatal.
I don't see anyone here calling good decent public servants terrorists.
I do see people being eternally vigilant.
You should try it.
Send these weekend warriors to the slums of Caracus. Then again... Put them in Detroit. Such tough guys!!
Really? Just because we see the US Constitution as the law of the land and our Rights given to us by God as not being subjected to interpretation? Now the State can drag you and your family out of your home at gunpoint with no direct probable cause because there may be a terrorist in the area.
What is contained in the video is TYRANNY, plain and simple. That is what it looks like. What our Founding Fathers warned us about and put into place protections against.
Unfortunately, I think we are going to lose all our rights and freedoms in this country. Not as a result of a losing conflict, but by the majority being boot lickers seeking safety.
Nah. It’s people here drinking the Alex Jones koolaid.
Don’t deal with the reasoning, just slander the messenger.
Watch the YouTube videos, and think for yourself about what you eyes are seeing.
Your posts on this thread are nothing more than filth.
No, you are.
Hot pursuit is one thing. As is a tip, sighting, 911 call, etc.
But random searches of the kind described here are off the wall.
Actually the cops were more like keystone cops in this case.
First, they only got into the fire fight because the bad guys car jacked and let the car owner go. The cops were not even close to finding them.
Second, the guy in the boat was not found by the cops, but called by the owner of the boat.
Third and very important, the sorriest blood hound or tracking dog could have tracked a blood trail and found the guy.
To a tracking dog, a blood trail is like the painted white line down the middle of the road.
This whole event was one of the most mismanaged crime scenes of all time.
I am not disparaging the bravery of the individual cop on the beat. They showed guts.
But the management at the upper levels was terrible. There should be people looking for a new job.
No, you’ve just lost the ability to discern the difference between our people protecting the public from terrorists and the terrorists themselves. It’s quite a sad spectacle actually.
Putting their lives on the line? You mean the thousands of agents in their armor and armored vehicles tracking down a single 19 year old punk? Gee, I hope they all get a medal for their bravery... NOT!
