Second update: After the tests have come back, it seems the Dowager had a mild stroke, which is what caused her to fall; I suspect the drinking caused the stroke, but I also suspect she isn’t going to quit. Not at her age, anyway. I mean, how much fun can you have when you are almost 86 and have COPD?

Holy Tallulah! (sp?) You are most certainly very clueful! Yes, you gave me much valuable information although I think we had terrapins and not snappers. A snapper seriously injured one of Mr. Quackers' left webs and he lived out of water for quite a while. Now, Mr. Quackers is nowhere to be found. He disappeared at the same time a fox appeared here.

Like her son and resident dope head. He was prpbably so high he laughed when his mum fell, then helped her into bed.

Dang. That sounds so uncharitible, and I should be ashamed, but he’s a freeloader, almost 65 and has been mooching off his mum most of his life. I got no sympathy for him, and I feel bad that he is his mum’s caretaker.

I’m not going to nag anyone about drinking! I like the ol’ self-administered anesthetic, myself, and since I have no social life, it’s a lot of fun. I mean, things are so much funnier when one has a few glasses of an Adult Beverage! LOL!

The drive wasn’t that bad - quiet time of day on 485. I didn’t go to the S.A. Maybe after vacation. I didn’t really need anything, just felt like looking! They’re building a Goodwill store not far from us to the east.
