Also they show the Low is still SW of Denver moving that towards Denver will bring a little more snow.
Not much snow here at all E at the B :( I just took out the trash and the car has no accumulation on it at all! Just a little bit on the sidewalk...a few inches. So disappointed. Still the kids got a snow day. Like with so many things, blizzards aren’t like they used to make them. Back in my day...Did I ever tell you about the Blizzard of ‘82? ;)
NOW I understand how the mess that happened in 2004/2005 (cant’ remember the year, but the huge blizzard, 3 feet or so right around Christmas) happened... People were stuck on the interstate and the snow kept falling, burying them. Had coworkers that lived 20 minutes from work that spent 8+ hours getting home, some leaving their cars stranded.
Can only get this wrong so many times before people don’t believe you, businesses won’t send employees home timely, and a mess happens.
Weatherchannel had a guy out by the airport and there was snow but traffic was moving and he was saying the temperature had been down to 10 degrees but it was warming up.
Maybe he meant windchill down to 10.
But it was obviously cold enogh the snow was not melting and the wind was gusting pretty good.
