Dixie Chicks were dropped from some radio stations playlists and their album sales fell, but I don’t know of booked concerts being canceled by promoters/venues out “solidarity” with the outraged.

Maybe Michelle didn’t have signed contracts for her gigs. Otherwise, the venues broke contract.

Currently my only real connection to the American entertainment industry is Duck Dynasty (can’t get enough of those bearded rednecks) and episodes of Battlestar Galactica I’ve been downloading to watch at the gym on my Ipad while I run on the epliptical. I just finishaed season 1 and I’m hooked - I can’t believe I missed this show when it was being broadcast but I’m glad I’ve got three more seasons to watch while exercising!
