That’s how detailed the movie was! I love how the great hall becomes so modern by the 1950s. Lovely movie.

You could say the same about Eddie Murphy's bumbling twin brother in another Martin movie,Bowfinger. Good point! AND, speaking of which... "Sergio" upstaged Eddie Murphy's character in BEVERLY HILLS COP! ...So effectively, that they brought Bronson Pinchot back in the sequel. (Eddie loved the upstage!)

LOL! I love it! One of my all time favorites. Lee Marvin took that movie and made it his own. The guy was great.

American Pie: Alyson Hannigan was offered the part of Heather, the major female role. She turned it down, asking for the part of a secondary character, which meant she didn't even get name billing in the original poster.
Her reason: although her preferred character had only about a dozen lines, they were more memorable.

Casablanca. I've watched it I don't know how many times and I still think that Claude Raines stole the show.

Paint Your Wagon, Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood upstaged by the wagon.
To his credit, though, Lee Marvin did upstage both John Wayne and Jimmy Sewart in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
