When Unemployment was 5.5%, gas prices were $2.00 a gallon, and housing was affordable, and we had 48 consecutive months of 3%+ GDP growth, the media was running polls asking if we were in a Recession.
Now that Unemployment has been at around 8% for 4 years, gas prices at $4.00 a gallon, little to no GDP growth for 4 years, unaffordable housing, the media is declaring things to be Jim freakin’ Dandy.
F*** the media and Obama too.
The people who think yes must have been born after Jan 2007 when the unemployment rate was 4.2.
Don’t hold back! :)
I grew up in the Los Angeles metro area. The two major newspapers were the LA Times and the Herald Examiner. The Times was far left and the Examiner was left. When the Examiner went out of business the Times went even further left.
I live in Arizona now and can’t remember the last time I bought a newspaper. I get almost all of my news from FR, other Internet sites or talk radio.
It’s maddening to try and glean actual news from the SCM media. But it is fun to foil their attempts to use polls to manufacture news.
