Well, I’m glad to see this is just an opinion piece, with someone making a guess.
All very well to say that Sarah won’t run. And I agree that the GOPe would fight it, tooth and nail. But they fought Reagan, and he overcame the resistance.
The thing is, there is NO ONE ELSE out there with her moral strength, intelligence, determination, record, and ability. Yes, I know, there are some pretty good conservative congresscritters out there. But none of them with her capacity to change the whole game, as she did in Alaska, and as she has been doing all her life.
We need someone who can stand strong in a crisis. Golda Meier and Margaret Thatcher come to mind as the kind of leaders who are needed when everything is going down the tubes. Sarah Palin is that kind of leader, the only one on the scene who can be trusted to do the job.
I’ll stand where Sarah Palin stands.
Thanks for the ping onyx, and thanks for the post Kolath.
Mark America has some good points, and of course I think we all know Sarah “stands” for what she believes, and what she believes many of us “stand” with her.
It’s again wait and see time. I believe that if nothing else as the beacon of conservative sense that she is we all will benefit from whatever choice of direction she chooses.
He’s a very thoughtful writer.
I haven’t had time to read his piece, but I’ll have the time later tonight. Thanks very much for your opinion and I appreciate the posting.
