Yes, these three young dual-threat, black quarterbacks have done well. But the problem with QBs that run so often is that they don’t hold up too well in the NFL. Donovan McNabb was once a frequent runner until he sustained season-ending injuries in three or four consecutive seasons.
RG3 was injured while running and missed a game a few weeks back. The question is still whether the running QB can last even a few seasons in the NFL before serious injuries diminish or end their ability to play the game.
And even with these three, all the coaches and knowledgeable observers want them to minimize the hits taken and to slide to avoid taking hits. I don’t think QBs who run frequently will have long careers in the NFL.
“The days of needing an established veteran at the quarterback position may be over.”
That’s going a bit too far. Most college quarterbacks aren’t cut out for the NFL. Many great college quarterbacks have no future whatsoever in the NFL. It never had to do with race, but the difference in the pro game and college.

Will they retract the article if the Super Bowl is Aaron Rodger vs Peyton Manning or Tom Brady?
*cough* TEBOW *cough*
From 1987 until now, the Philadelphia Eagles have started a black quarterback 328 times.
Rush was right......tonight before the GB/Minnesota game Tony Dungy and some other black talking head surmised that the Vikings had a better chance to win with second stringer Joe Webb filling in for that injured pale face Christian Ponder who had taken them to the playoffs.......result?.....Webb with a sub 30 QB rating and 10 points against the same team Ponder put up 37 against last week .......LMAO
2 out of 3 have whitey blood.....but don’t tell anyone....
The main reason there were few or no black qbs in the pros thirty or forty years ago is nothing to do with racist pros. The fact is: few major colleges had black qbs. And many southern colleges had few or no black players period. For decades there was a very small pool of black qbs for the pros to choose from.
