I can't believe a public university would employee someone so unstable. Oh wait, yes I can. Let him know what you think:

Erik Loomis, Ph.D., Assistant Professor U.S. environmental history, the Civil War, late 19th and early 20th century America, labor history, and the American West Contact: eloomis@mail.uri.edu or (401) 874-4078

Well, surprise, surprise! It’s a murderous watermelon mad professor.

The red guts of his bloodlust “green” solutions are quite final and just ooze out and slime everyone around him. He’s one of the Democrats’ “smart” ones.

Obviously Mr. Loomis is mentally unstable. He should not be allowed anywhere near our children, in fact I would say he is precisely the type of person who should be under constant supervision in a mental institution.

It seems to me the Loomis statement could be construed as antisemitic. Is Loomis antisemitic? I have read that all Israeli teachers are armed and well trained in the use of arms to protect the children they teach.

There are PhDs that require extreme intellect and there are PhDs that one can purchase on the back of a cereal box.

Mr (not Dr) Loomis has obviously chosen the latter.

Sorry, Eric, but you just are not very bright. Stick to something within your limited intellect - such as teaching marshmallow topics in a marshmallow department in a university that obviously threw their standards out the window.

Since the prof consents to debate by homicide, I presume he’s prepared to lose his argument.

Many in labor support a vigorous fight against climate change. Perhaps they can serve as a bridge to environmental organizations. What must happen is more meaningful dialogue between the UMWA and environmentalists. The UMWA’s primary mission is to protect its members’ jobs. Without coal, what happens to thousands of families in Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Pennsylvania? There’s no easy answer. But attacking the EPA is not going to bring union jobs back to Appalachia. Demonizing environmentalists only serves to alienate alliances with other progressives the UMWA and other unions need to fight for a better future.

He probably still uses “guns in America” by Michael A. Bellesiles as a source text.

Even better to let his dean and university president know how you feel.

Any teacher who objects to being armed can be give the opportunity to explore the adventures in the welfare office and unemployment agency.

Erik Loomis, an assistant professor of American history at the University of Rhode Island

The blood of the Sandy Hook massacre rests on Erik and his ilk who sacrificed these children and adults for the misguided notion that criminalizing self-defense will make us safer.
