COUSIN Eddie....of course. How did I get that wrong??? It’s not like I haven’t watched the movie enough times. Guess it’s time to pop it back in the DVD player.

“Holiday Inn,” because of Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire and beautiful music.

“A Christmas Family Tragedy” - a documentary about the Charlie Lawson family murders in 1929.

My absolute favorite is the 1951 movie “Scrooge” with Alastair Sim in the title role. Honorable mentions: “A Christmas Story”(1983), “White Christmas”(1954), and two other holiday movies made for TV: “An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving”(2008), and “An Old Fashioned Christmas” (2010), starring Jacqueline Bisset

Oh hee hee, it wouldn't be the Christmas shopping season if the stores were any less hooter than they - HOTTER than they are. Whew. It is warm in here, isn't it?" - Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase)

"Yes, oh do I? Yeah, it is a bit nipply out. I mean nippy. What am I saying, nipple?" - Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase)

I’m warped too - in a different sense.
My favorite was is “A Wish for Wings That Work” with the penguin Opus, Bill the Cat, etc. It was only on TV once that I recall, but we have it on DVD.

I don’t know about Christmas movies (we’ve enjoyed the usual suspects over the years), but a good New Year’s Eve movie is “The Hudsucker Proxy,” probably the Coen brother’s least-known creation.
