Got the boxes from Church, we filled them with the suggested necessary items, marked for boy or girl. These would be sent to some 3rd world country. The kids were so excited to get these items.

But, I am cutting fat. I had “let it ride” to this point because I believed in my nation and though we’d do the right thing. I believed that the economy would roar back as soon as the Idiot was gone. Instead, the grifters voted the Moron in again, so I am reducing my economic activity. I have no faith in the American people and, therefore, have very little faith that our economy will do anything but languish or collapse.

Why didn’t you mention the NBC/MSNBC reason? That would be the ONLY reason I’d give them. We’re planning to cancel ASAP.
I love Apple TV, but you definitely need a good wireless router. I had an older router that just wasn’t cutting it. Lots of drop-outs in streaming - especially on Youtube.
When I got Apple’s Airport Extreme it cleared 95% of that up. Every now and then it happens, but clears up very quickly.
Since getting the aiport extreme I have never had Netflik drop out or freeze and Youtube only rarely has a problem. Huluplus is the only one that still has drop outs occasionally, but nothing like it was before. Usually it also clears up.
As I said, I am very happy with the system now and I highly recommend it.

Here, too. We’ve decided that beginning Dec. 1 only the necessities. We can afford more, but our goal is to starve the pig and send a message. No Christmas gifts, and only the basics after that.
Where do you buy a digital TV antenna? A place like Radio Shack?

How demoralizing for you and your family. I’d be inclined to think about giving up in your situation. But I’m sure that, in the end, you’re the type of person who would be embarrassed to be on the dole. I’m very sorry for what you’re going through.

Ha. Thanks for that MFM. What I wrote before is only the tip of the iceberg. 3 family members died in the last 18 months including my mother and baby sister. Daughter has cancer, but fighting. We think she’ll be fine but there are issues.
My wife wants me to file for unemployment when I get laid off in a couple of weeks. Don’t know if I can do it. I’ll probably just get another job....then another, then another.
