Let me see if I understand this. If everyone stopped looking for work and dropped out of the calculation than we would see a 0% unemployment figure? Some one help me out here.
I think the numbers are bogus. More people dropped out of the work force. And even if the rate did legitimally tick down -- IT'S ABOUT TIME and still not good enough.
Entirely predictable — and won’t make one bit of difference. It’s like getting straight “F’s” all semester long and then bragging to your parents that you got a “C” on the last pop quiz before your report card comes out.

According to the report, the employment participation rate (num of people working) stayed the same from last month.
But you are right, the way it works, if all adults stop working and don’t look for a new job, except 1 person, it’d be 100% employment and 0% unemployment.
But the MSM won’t call him on the BS. Expect the MSM evening news tonight to feature balloons and confetti.
You can't add a measly 114,000 jobs to the economy while having the workforce participation rate uptick slightly, and see the U3 drop 0.3%. At this rate, if we added a mere 3 million jobs to the economy, we'd be at 0% unemployment (U3) - which is obviously not anywhere near reality.
This 7.8% number is contrived. And do you know WHY it is contrived? Because 7.8% was the number for U3 when Bush left office. This number exists solely so Obama and Co. can try to make the case that they've "fixed" what Bush broke. And they know that the average viewer can't or won't reason the numbers through to see what utter nonsense they are - they'll just take a headline at face value without questioning it in the least.
This is something you’d expect right out of the Soviet Union.....if ANYONE is stupid enough to believe this, America is damned.
They are fixing this big time, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and is completely out of trend....

Congress needs to call that airhead, Hilda Solis, to explain these bogus numbers and how they “created” almost 900,000 jobs out of thin air just to help Obama get re-elected.
