Who’s going to sponser the tour, “Grecian Formula for men” or maybe “Depends”?
Yesterday KLOS radio here in Los Angeles announced it’s the video release of the 12/07 O2 concert. It’ll be cool to see it in hi-def, I only have a crappy copy of the concert.
You may resume breathing now ;-)
LOL- be as sarcastic as you like but Zeppelin could call its own price....there was a lottery drawing for tickets for their O2 concert in 2007- more than 2 million people from 53 countries applied for the 20,000 seats...
To quote the guy that fact checked Ryan's iPod playlist: "that's a band called Led Zeppelin"
Hey, if it’s good enough for Jack White and The Edge, I woudln’t worry much about it...

Ditto
The 02 concert had alot of iphone youtube clips up where you could see the pro cameramen all over the stage and so on but never a single pro-shot clip has been seen anywhere on the web.
Gotta be the DVD of the O2 concert
I know I’d cough up the money to catch them live if Led Zeppelin announced a reunion tour...

I remember when they broke up in 1980, thinking, I can’t wait for the next LZ to come along.
I’m still waiting.
I saw Zeppelin 6 times. Saw the Physical Graffiti tour 4 times and the Presence tour twice.
The only thing better than a Led Zeppelin concert at Madison Square Garden is a Pink Floyd concert at Madison Square Garden. I was too young for the Stones.
Was going to say maybe it’s a countdown until Page and Plant get new hip implants from the NHS.
Yeah, Madonna and Justin Beeber get ticket sales like that too. And I wouldn’t pay to watch them any more than the geriatric crew. Watching a 64 year old Robert Plant strut on stage shaking his ass and trying to hit the high notes he can no longer reach holds no appeal to me. I’m more than satisfied with my memories of their show in Indy back in ‘79. I do admit that Jimmy Page is the most gifted technical guitarist in the history of rock - you can’t watch him for more than 20 minutes without coming to that conclusion.
LOL- comparing Justin Bieber and Madonna to Led Zeppelin....
love your “memories” from the Indy show of 1979- of course the last time Led Zeppelin played in the United States was July of 1977...based on your memory one could only assume you must be part of the geriatric crowd..
saw them opening night at Madison Square Garden in 1977; 6/7/77...ticket stub sits in a frame on my desk...
Seems you love Mr Rogers more based on that...the mighty Led Zeppelin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87kcHA5veg0
The Indy show was in ‘77, you are correct, and at 54 I am quickly approaching the geriatric set. No doubt. Which reinforces my desire not to watch a senior citizen shake his butt on stage. It would be like some girl going to watch Chippendale’s dances and recognizing her grandpa up there on stage shaking his booty. And it is pretty funny that for current audiences Modonna and Justin are just, if not more, popular than Led Zepplin. I guess talent is in no way shape or form a necessity to be pop star anymore.
current audiences???
will Justin Beiber be as popular as Led Zeppelin 30 years after he releases his final album and tours (compared to Zeppelin)??? Madonna??
Awesome tour.
Madonna is sure getting there and still just as popular (one of life’s great mysteries) and who knows about Justin? Both suck but that seems to be the popular appetite.
