Just restart and all will be well again. This is one of the things that can happen if it crashes also; no harm is done.

yea, i have been dual booting for 13/14 years.

i almost always use linux when i am online. some programs i use windows for, and i do not want to go thru the trouble of using wine.

always pick the easy way out.
