I guess Im a little surprised that you were caught by surprise by the radio host change cause I know weve talked and I guess my impression was that it wouldnt be that impactful but I guess it was quite impactful.”
LOL. Is this another version of “unexpectedly”?
You know, when you are in control of the media I’ve seen one of the consequences is you start to believe your own hype. They really do believe that green jobs will revive the economy, that gay marriage will not tell against them, that cutting out the EVIL RUSH will not lead to backlash.
They are always so surprised when it does but keep plugging along, digging deeper.

Would you trust your data with a company whose CEO uses "words" like IMPACTFUL?

Ghost a removable harddrive, and store it in a safe place. It’s cheaper, better and doesn’t require dealing with incompetent people to get your data back.

Mr. Bean? Is that you?
No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke, and I have two, could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse. - David Friend, CEO of Carbonite

He knew he was going to get shorted and he did it anyway, his whole 'making a point' thing almost amounts to corporate malfeasance.
Given how long they were with Rush, surely there are conservative shareholders that could bury this clown in litigation.

damage one or two more quarters? I’d think again, big boy.
Conservatives don’t like people who cave to leftists. But, unlike leftists, we won’t burn your building, we’ll just think you don’t exist.

Im not regretful of the decision, I think things would have been worse had we not done that.
In Jim Collins Good to Great, the author maintains that great companies are able to face reality. This doofus has decided to double-down. In effect, he has told all Rush Limbaugh listeners that he doesn't want our business.

Just caught this at the tail end of the article:
“Update: Carbonite shareholders have another reason to worry. Friend has just started a potentialy competitive online storage company with a recently departed executive.” Friend was the man in the interview, the CEO of Carbonite.
So the CEO that made this decision, got together with a “recently departed executive” (planned?) and started a competing business? Did this guy sabotage his own company purposely? Or does he just think he is the wheeler dealer of the year?
In any case, looks like he single handedly destroyed Carbonite.

A 32 gig thumb or sd card drive goes a long way for backup, especially if you record critical data on two.
I would not trust a third party not to scan my data, like gmail and the other “free” emails do.

Corporate buzzwordism is contagious. He can’t help it. The latest irritating buzzwordist phrase is “reach out.” It just sounds so helpless. Warm and fuzzy, but helpless. I grit my teeth every time I get an e-mail containing it. I don’t want someone to “reach out” to me, I want them to answer my &@$% question, lol.
To: Olog-hai
Yep. You also looked desperate doing TV commercials on Fox for the 1st time, which yielded zip in terms of results.

I am always surprised by the extremely short-term thinking of so-called business “leaders.”
Sandra Fluke was a political prop, who was prostituted for some cheap headlines, and with the media life-span of a fruit-fly.
Yet these business wizards decide THAT is the important issue on which they will take a stand and bet their company’s fate.
Idiots.
