I wonder if Bill & Hill tried this when they were having Mr. Robbins over to the White house for some motivational chit-chat.

what a great business. charge people $2,000/head to walk on hot coals.

good until the supply of idiots runs out, which is never, probably.

Just think of all the fun one could have if they placed Black Cat firecrackers between the toes before they walked.

carbon is a poor conductor of heat so they should not get burned if the coals are done correctly - something was done incorrectly. It’s supposed to be a sham, but it turned out to be a cluster.

The power from within was unleashed - they got what they paid for.

I wouldn’t stick my hand in an alligators mouth either.

Some things are just plain stupid.

I think Tony may have lost his “mojo”.

The coals have to be made from low density wood. Poplar, good; oak, bad.

Feet have to be dry.

You’ve got to keep moving.

Somebody screwed up.

I don’t know about Bill and Hill, but Tony Robbins, who peaked long ago, has now entered my mind as the Obama of Motivational Speakers/Scam Artists. Like Obama, his only accomplishment, since he has NO history of being a success in anything else,
is simply that he promoted himself as a success, much in the same way Obama’s “experience” is that he ran for the Presidency and WON.

This stuff is so ignorant. I remember watching some celebrity doing a “broken glass” walk several years ago. She managed to keep to the more smooth pieces of glass at first; but then she took a misstep and a sharp piece of glass stuck into her foot. Then the blood started gushing. She obviously wasn’t going to admit “defeet”, and finished her walk; but it was clear she was hurt. - Playing “follow the leader” with Robbins is truly not a good idea; but he keeps on drawing followers.

“did Tony walk the fire?”

It isn’t mentioned anywhere in the article, but I have a hunch he didn’t.

royally...you're not supposed to genuflect while-on-the-coals, that should've been made clear.
