If that is the same Spartak Karabedian of Van Nuys, he owns (owned?) a cafe in North Hollywood, where some of his buddies were killed by another of his buddies in April, 2010—but he wasn’t there. He bought it after it closed because of the shootings; he didn’t own it then. I once went to a nice Sicilian wedding when a couple of fights broke out...lots of bleeding, and when the guys were removed, the band played on, everyone ate, drank and was merry.. It was my sisters wedding....LOL

Her husband, my brother in law was one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet, he had 1 flaw....he was a democrat, but he had some shady family members straight from Sicily... I loved his mother, she ran a numbers game for some family member....

I was the only one she ever gave her Lasagna receipe to...with strich instructions to buy only imported pepperoni and cheeses. Basil had to be fresh...The Lasagna was the best I ever had, and when the neigborhood had pot luck parties, it was the hit of the parties...

It was also the first time I ever heard of putting butter in the sauce, brings out lots of flavors...
