Do you perform the acupuncture yourself or see a vet/tech for it? Have you discussed the gb diet with your vet, and if so the feedback you received?

We go to a DVM who specializes in holistic medicine, Chinese herbs, acupuncture and chiropractic. At some point in time we may have to put Strider, the Aussie, on pain meds, but as long as the acupuncture is giving him good movement and freedom for pain, we’ll continue it.

We learned of the green bean diet when it was prescribed for my nephew’s overweight bassets by his vet. Our vet agreed that Strider would benefit from it. She gives him a mini-physical each month before she treats him with the acupuncture needles, so she would pick up on any nutritional deficencies very quickly.
