Your anti-religiosity is just another specious bigotry. Sorry you hate Christ and his followers so much.
The fact of the matter is men, whether married or single, have no control over what happens to the baby,if one comes along, but are 100% financially responsible for it, and sometimes when it isn't even their child.
Very few wives have abortions without consultation with their spouse and I would posit in the few cases where such does happen, it is a symptom of an otherwise failing marriage.
Men may have very little legal power or control regarding the outcome of a pregnancy, but they have an enormous ability to affect the woman's decision simply by being willing to be responsible emotionally, morally and financially.
The law is only capable of enforcing one of those and poorly at that. If men wish to avoid financial responsibility of offspring, they must avoid bringing them into existence before the fact.
What power or control of the outcome of pregnancy could you possibly give men that would not involve the potential coercion of the woman?
Having been involved with Pregnancy Care Centers for two decades, I can tell you that majority of women seeking help are there because the father wants nothing to do with his progeny. The women are often seeking emotional support to stand up to those pressuring them to abort.
For men, control of procreation begins and ends with self-control. Acknowledging reality is the best way to get through life.
Since when is expressing disapproval of idiotic behavior of teens and the stealing of my tax dollars “anti-religious?” Newsflash - tithing ain’t compulsory and it sure isn’t legit when stolen from the government.
