The Wings are having a tough time with the Preds too. I was counting on two wins in the Joe.

We start Fleury and hope for the best.
Vancouver won the President’s Cup for best record in the NHL, and is being beaten 3-0 by the 8th place Kings.
That’s playoff hockey. If your goalie doen’t play well, you lose.
SOOOO(!!!) glad they fragged Maurice. I think Muller's gonna make them winners. For a while, I've thought they had no chance of winning Lord Stanley again as long as Staal ws the captain. He was always doggin' it. But, I've even been impressed with his effort level since Muller came aboard.
Muller’s been good for them no doubt. And Staal must have had woman problems or something at beginning of season. He was awful, but finished better. They are set up good for next season.
Also, my ex neighbor Peter L is doing great so far this playoff season with the Flyers. After putting up with obnoxious Pen fans a couple years ago in the playoffs, I’m glad to see it.
So were the Preds. :-)
Those monster Preds’ goalies are practically bulletproof.
We’ve got over 13 feet of goalies! ;) But no Pavels. :(
It’s time to wake up the thread. Sunday was the first time we’d beaten Detroit in the play-offs at the Joe and we did it again tonight, in spite of the officiating and the disallowed goal that should have counted. We play here in Nashville Friday night.

I’m home sick today but still rooting for my Pens! We’re not dead yet! My captain is Crosby (he doesn’t like Philly) and I have hope.
My secondary teams are doing well. I was wearing my Coyotes shirt yesterday and I support the team BUT that hit by Torres on Hossa should get a 20 game suspension. No penalty on that hit; officiating in the league is a joke. The NHL is a garage league.

It’s also time for the Wings to wake up. As you say, they had several gifts last night but still failed to overcome the awesome Preds defense. Hopefully Coach Babcock will fire ‘em up for another win in Music Town Friday.
I love this time of year, with nonstop hockey every night.
