I grew up down in Louisiana in a community of Okie transplants sandwiched in between the cajuns in the south and the rednecks in the north. Moved to Nashville in 84.

28% Dixie. You are a dandy Yankee Doodle. And they "din't" even ask about
"hover": (HUV-ver or HAWV-er)
"until" (un-TIL or in-TIL)
"whaddya call a knitted winter cap, maybe a bit elongated with pom-pom on the tip" (stocking cap, toboggan, or toque)
The correct! answer! Is! Toque ---pronounced like 2k or "Cuke."
It's especially a toque if it has fringes.
Extra-and-specially if you wear it to bed, my dear.

Tp-ing is Texan, not wrapping. No, you tp a house and you wrap a present. You're either a youngun or a transplant. We wrapped houses deep in the heart of Texas in the early to mid 60s. I never even heard of TP'ing until I moved to California almost 10 years after I'd wrapped my last house.

You’re wrong on both counts.
