Thanks for the tip. I deleted my credit card information and didn’t replace it. That takes care of that. I also told them I would not be renewing. I’m going with Crashplan.

Great. I had just renewed as of November, so I’m screwed for a while. It’s for an old PC that I’ve now replaced with a Mac, and hadn’t set up the Carbonite on the Mac yet (and now won’t) However, someone mentioned that their real cost is in actual storage, so I might just take that old PC, load copy a bunch of DVDs onto it, and have Carbonite back that up for the rest of the time, maxing out my storage limit.

I have a question. Did you uninstall Carbonite without any problems? Do you uninstall prior to installing Crashplan?
